Asparagus in crust
With spring comes asparagus and, with them also the first outdoor appetizers and picnics. In today's recipe we prepare vegan asparagus crust using supermarket pizza dough. These baked asparagus are a perfect finger food and are also easy to transport inside a tupperware. Here are all the ingredients you'll need
- 10 asparagus
- 1/2 pizza dough already flattened (half of the whole package)
- 2 teaspoons mustard
- 1 teaspoon Agave syrup
- 1/2 Tablespoon vegan parmesan cheese
- q.b finely chopped fresh chives
- Salt & pepper to taste
Preparation (step-by-step)
1. Wash the asparagus and remove the woody part of the asparagus. You will find that by pressing with both hands on the bottom of the asparagus, it will break off in the right place automatically.
2. Turn the oven on to 200°C.
3. Mix mustard, agave, veg parmesan, chives, salt and pepper until smooth.
4. Take the pizza dough and cut it into 10 strips of the same size.
5. Brush the mustard paste all over the pizza dough.
6. Take one asparagus at a time and wrap the pizza dough starting at the bottom and moving toward the tip of the asparagus. Then place them on a baking sheet.
7. Bake and let bake for 15-20 minutes or until your dough is nice and golden brown.

- 1 tsp Agave syrup
- 1/2 Tbsp vegan parmesan
- as needed fresh chives finely chopped
- as needed salt & pepper
Instructions
