Chocolate corn flakes biscuits
Today I present you with a time-saving recipe for when you have to prepare a dessert or snack at the last minute and are short of time. I am talking about biscuits made with chocolate corn flakes. Also try my Soft and fluffy vegan crêpes, my Vegan tiramisù or my Vegan snickers for quick and easy vegan desserts.
They are simple to make and are enjoyed by young and old alike. These biscuits take on a particular shape from which they derive their name "chocolatedesert roses "
The ingredients you will need for corn flakes biscuits
As already mentioned, the recipe is really simple. Equally simple are the ingredients for these corn flakes and chocolate biscuits. These are the ingredients you will need:
Corn flakes
- The plain ones that are orange, without sugarDark chocolate for cooking
- Simple dark chocolate barCoconut butter
(1 tablespoon)-will be used to melt the chocolate without lumps forming
With these three ingredients you can already make satisfying chocolate desert roses. As you can see from my photos, I wanted to "make up" my chocolate cookies to make them prettier. Here is what I used to embellish my roses.:
- Coconut flakes
- Chocolate flakes
- Chopped pumpkin seeds
- Edible dried flowers
- White chia seeds
- Cacao powder
- Almond granules
Note: : if you decorate your desert roses, make sure you do so when the chocolate is still melted and not yet solidified. You will therefore have to do this before you put your biscuits in the oven.
Use YOUR creativity: There are no limits or rules. Open your kitchen drawers and be inspired by the colors and different flavors. There is no right or wrong so unleash your imagination and have fun embellishing your chocolate chip cookies.
Conservation of desert roses
In addition to being simple to make these cookies are also very easy to store. Once the chocolate in your desert roses has solidified you can store the cookies in a container or glass jar. In the refrigerator they will last up to 1 week (7 days).

Chocolate desert rose cookies
Ingredients
- 120-140 g Cornflakes sugar-free
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 1/2 Tbsp coconut butter To make the chocolate melt well
Instructions
- Put the chocolate and coconut butter in a bowl.
- Place the bowl in a bain-marie in hot water.
- Let the chocolate melt by turning with a spatula from time to time.
- Using two teaspoons, form "balls" and then place them on a plate of baking paper.
- Decorate your cookies with whatever you like until the chocolate is melted.
- Let cool in the refrigerator for at least 20-30 minutes. Your cookies are ready!
