- 300 g extra firm tofu
For marinating
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp peanut butter
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp soya bean sauce can be replaced with soya sauce
- 1 clove of garlic
- 50 ml water
For the sauce
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. peanut butter
- ½ tsp paprika powder
- 3 tsp agave syrup
- 25 ml water
Preparation (step-by-step)
1. Prepare the marinade by mixing all the 'marinade' ingredients in a large container.
2. Press the tofu with a clean kitchen towel, pressing gently to remove the water from the tofu. and cut it into 1 cm cubes.
3. Put the tofu inside the marinade and mix well.
4. Turn on the oven at 220°C ventilated function and leave the tofu to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
5. Prepare the peanut butter sauce by putting all the 'sauce' ingredients in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
6. Compose your skewers and place them on a baking tray with baking paper.
7. Bake for 30 minutes at 220°C. Turn each skewer after the first 15 minutes for even cooking.

Marinating the tofu: The longer you leave the tofu to marinate, the more taste and flavour it will absorb. You can leave the tofu to marinate in a container left in the fridge for 2 days.

Once your kebabs are cooked, eat them immediately or put the tofu cubes inside an airtight container in the fridge and eat them within 3 days.
