Equipment

  • 6 skewer sticks
  • 1 baking paper
  • 1 baking tray

Ingredients

  • 300 g firm tofu

For the marinade

  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp peanut butter
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp soy bean sauce can be replaced with soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 50 ml water

For the sauce

  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp peanut butter
  • ½ tsp paprika powder
  • 3 tsp agave syrup
  • 25 ml water

Instructions

  • Prepare the marinade by mixing all the 'marinade' ingredients in a large container.
  • Press the tofu with a clean kitchen towel and cut it into 1 cm cubes.
  • Put the tofu inside the marinade and mix well.
  • Turn on the oven at 220°C ventilated function and leave the tofu to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Prepare the peanut butter sauce by putting all the 'sauce' ingredients in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
  • Compose your skewers and place them on a baking tray with baking paper.
  • Bake for 30 minutes at 220°C. Turn each skewer after the first 15 minutes for even cooking.
  • Enjoy your skewers with peanut butter sauce.
