Ingredients
150gFirm tofu
3Tbspsoy sauce
2Tbspwater
1tspcorn starch
1tspsesame seeds
1tspagave syrup
1clovelemon
1carrot peeled and cut into rounds
½zucchinicut into strips (see photo)
1clovegarlic
Instructions
Cut the tofu into 1 cm cubes and the carrots and courgettes as described above.
Sauté the garlic, courgette and carrots in a non-stick pan with some oil.
Cut the vegetables from the pan and set them aside.
In the same frying pan, add a little more oil and cook the tofu until it is golden brown on all sides. Then remove it from the pan and set it aside with the vegetables.
Meanwhile, mix the ingredients for the sweet-and-sour sauce in a bowl or jar.
In the same pan, put the soy sauce and let it cook on low heat for a few seconds, stirring often.
Once the sauce is thick, add the tofu and vegetables and enjoy with basmati rice.
