- 30 g vegan butter
- 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 white onion, finely chopped
- 250-300 ml or 8.45-10.14 fl oz
- 1,5 Tbsp all purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- as needed salt & pepper
Melt butter over low heat in a saucepan with olive oil.

Add the onions and sauté them (again over low heat) until softened.

Add the flour and ladle it into the butter. Then add the broth, continuing to stir for 3-4 min.

Add the soy sauce and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
